Our Philosophy
We provide a holistic early education that integrates child-centered, play-based learning and nature exploration. Our Reggio-inspired approach fosters creativity, curiosity, social skills, and a love for the environment. It empowers children to learn at their own pace through hands-on experiences in a nurturing and safe space.
Our goal is to cultivate well-rounded individuals who are confident, resilient, and active learners prepared to contribute positively to their communities. By embracing each child’s developmental stage and encouraging collaboration, problem-solving, and exploration, we lay the foundation for lifelong learning and future success.

Windy Willow is a non-denominational, non-discriminatory school.​
Windy Willow is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services to serve:
-8 infants: 6 weeks to 15 months with a ratio of one teacher to four infants
-14 toddlers: 15 months to 33 months with a ratio of one teacher to seven toddlers
-20 preschoolers: 33 months to 5 years with a ratio of one teacher to ten preschoolers
​* We are expanding our school in early 2025. When finished we will be
licensed for an additional preschool classroom for up to 20 children.
